Tartes & Pop® is the very first French tarts specialized shop in Hong Kong. Lou Campagna and his best friend, Thibaut Carminho, established Tartes & Pop® in 2014 when they realized that it was actually difficult to find a good French tarte in Hong Kong.
The two friends dreamed of a new kind of pastry shop where amazing quality would not have to follow the cold and impersonal rules of luxury. They spent more than a year to come up with what is, in their opinion, the ultimate good-mood boosting combo: funky music, friendly staff and finger-licking good tarts.
Tartes & Pop have also quickly become a favorite with international and local celebrities.
Lou built his reputation as a pastry chef from 8 years working for the very famous chocolate company Valrhona, all around Asia. During this time, he had the chance to teach and share his knowledge with chefs from prestigious hotels such as the Ritz Carlton, the Grand Hyatt, the Mandarin Oriental, the Four Seasons, the Peninsula Hotel and many others...
Thibaut is passionate about branding and has a sales management background in a marketing agency. Real creative thinker, he helped creating Tartes & Pop® very unique brand identity.
